Students enrolling for the first time in a Kansas school will need an immunization record to enroll. Depending on your child's age, certain immunizations and health assessments may be required. A variety of immunizations/vaccinations will be available to students at our Enrollment Event. If your student is receiving an immunization, a copy of your health insurance may be required.

You will have the opportunity to an application for Free & Reduced Lunches at our Enrollment Event. We will have online and paper applications available. Our Transportation Department will be available at the Enrollment Event. You can apply for transportation through the enrollment process in Skyward, then verify that you qualify or check on the status of your request with one of our staff members. Please note that not all students qualify for district transportation.

There's no reason to wait in line at our Enrollment Event if you've already paid your student fees!
Once your enrollment is confirmed, you can beat the lines and pay your fees online at https://payments.efundsforschools.com/v3/districts/55837 with a credit or debit card. You'll be able to walk past the line and head straight to our other stations to sign up for transportation or other services, receive immunizations, and get sports physicals.

The approved Board of Education's revised 2023-24 school calendar took effect following the ratification of the 2023-24 Negotiated Agreement between USD 457 and GCEA at last night's meeting. The first full day of school for all students will be August 16 and the last day will now be May 23. The student day will be 20 minutes shorter than last year. Updated school start and end times will be available soon.
Copies of the calendar are available on our website or at the Educational Support Center, 1205 Fleming.

Thank you to everyone who donated to Stuff the Bus over the weekend! Your donations are being sorted into backpacks that will be distributed from 9:00am – 4:00pm on Thursday, July 27 at Garfield Early Childhood Center.

The annual "Stuff the Bus" is this Saturday, July 8 and Sunday, July 9 from 9:00am - 3:00pm. Donations will be collected at Dillon’s East, Dillon’s West, Target, Walmart, Walmart Neighborhood Market, Staples, and Dollar General in Holcomb. This year's goal is to fill 2,000 backpacks that will be distributed later this month. More information about backpack distribution will be shared soon.
