Parents,
Please be cautious and follow traffic laws when dropping students off before school and picking students up after school:
1. Pull to the curb when dropping off AND picking students up.
2. Be respectful of neighborhood residents and do not block driveways or access to mailboxes.
3. Do not double park and use your flashers when waiting for your student. This interferes with traffic and causes a hazard when others try to go around you.
4. Come across the street to pick up your student. We will not send a student into the street or let them cross the street to a vehicle without an adult.
5. Do not park in the bus lane.
6. Be AWARE of pedestrians.
7. Be nice and be patient. We all have the same goal of getting kids to school and back home safely.
Thank you for helping keep our students safe!

We will have indoor dismissal today due to the weather. All students will be available to be picked up in the cafeteria starting at 3:40. Please enter the cafeteria through the northeast doors and stay along the east wall. Students will be seated by grade level/class and there will be staff available to help you locate your child(ren). Older children should be seated with their younger sibling.

We appreciate your patience!

Parents,
All parents should have received an invitation to join Class Dojo! We are excited to use this interactive platform for parent communication and want to make sure we get everyone connected as soon as possible. If you did not receive an invitation via text or email, please contact the school and we will send a QR code home with your student.

Important-Class Dojo will offer paid features. You do not need any of the paid features of the app to access any of the school communication features! If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.

The Florence Wilson Student Lighthouse Team organized a food drive for the Emmaus House, making a donation of over 300 food items. They also collected stockings and items for the Travis Bachman Memorial Stocking Drive, donating and providing funds to mail 24 stockings to soldiers stationed overseas for Christmas! Thank you to our amazing Florence Wilson families for your generous donations!

As the weather gets colder, please make sure your child comes to school dressed warmly. A coat, hat and gloves help keep them comfortable and healthy during outdoor play and arrival times.

Thank you for helping us keep everyone warm and ready to learn!
